One old king of Samsung Galaxy phones, Galaxy S2, has now managed to run on latest’s software version available in market, Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This was one of high-end phone in old days but now in these advance days, its specs are not impressive such as 480p display, dual core CPU, and 1GB of RAM. It was arrived in market running on Android 2.3 (later it received many official updates, however at this time it is no longer supported on Samsung’s for latest software versions). But it has proved that it can still live by receiving a build of CyanogenMod 13 (CM13) nightly based on Android Marshmallow.
Before taking a drive of this custom firmware, it is important to note in mind that since this is custom ROM even nightly build, everything might not feel stable for a daily drive.
Read on how to get started with the installation of this Galaxy S2 Android 6.0 ROM.
